This Bunny Clay Pot is a fun craft for Eastertime.

NOTE: The clay pot is not food-safe, so if you put treats in it, be sure to put them in a treat bag first!

Scissors

Creatology 6”x9” Adhesive Foam Sheets, Pink

FolkArt Spouncer Stenciling Sponges

Creatology Taklon Bristle Paintbrushes

Paper plate (or paint palette)

Craft Smart Multi-Surface Premium Satin Acrylic Paint, White and Pink

Ashland Clay Pot

Elmer’s Washable School Glue

Creatology Wiggle Eyes, Flat Back

Small black pom poms

Craft Smart Black Extra Fine Tip Multi-Surface Premium Paint Pen

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. CLICK HERE to download and print the template; then cut out the pieces.
  2. Trace the larger ear pattern two times onto white foam and cut out. Trace the smaller ear pattern onto pink adhesive foam and cut out, then adhere each pink piece to the center of the each white ear. Set aside.
  3. Paint the clay pot white and let dry. Add a second coat of paint if desired.
  4. Dip the foam spouncer into pink paint, then press it onto the clay pot for the bunny’s cheeks. Press the spouncer onto the surface, twist a little, then pull it straight off to get a circle. Let dry.
  5. Glue two wiggle eyes onto the pot and glue a small black pom-pom under the eyes as a nose. Let dry.
  6. Draw the mouth and whiskers using the extra fine black paint pen.
  7. Glue the ears to the front, inside of the pot. Let dry.
