Make a stick santa!

 

YOU’LL NEED

1 1/2″ Pom Poms By Creatology – Color: White
1 Elmer’s Washable School Glue
1 Rainbow 9″ X 12″ Construction Paper By Creatology, Assorted Sheets – Color: Assorted
1 Assorted Adhesive Wiggle Eyes By Creatology
1 Jumbo Wood Craft Sticks By Creatology – Color: Natural
1 Multi-Surface Premium Satin Acrylic Paint By Craft Smart, 2oz. – Color: Red
1 Blunt Tip Scissors By Creatology
1 Triangle Paint Brushes By Creatology

DIRECTIONS

1.First, click here to download and print the template; then cut out the hat pattern.

2. Trace the hat onto red construction paper and cut out. Set aside.

3.Measure 1 1/2″ [3.8 cm] down from one end of a jumbo craft stick and make a mark. Paint the remaining 4 1/2″ [10.2 cm] of the craft stick with red craft paint. Let dry.
TIP: Leave the 11/2″ [3.8 cm] at the top unpainted, as this will be Santa’s face.

4.Glue the paper hat to the top of the craft stick. Glue a white pom-pom to the tip at the top of the hat. Glue three white pom-poms in place for his beard. Glue two wiggle eyes above the beard. Let dry.

5. Draw a belt and two buttons on the red-painted portion of the craft stick below the beard, using a black marker.
