YOU’LL NEED

For Cornhole Boards:
Acrylic Paint, Five Different Colors
Acrylic Sealer
Medium Paintbrush
Frog painter’s tape
Cricut Adhesive Vinyl
X-Acto Knife
Metal Ruler
Pencil
Cutting Surface
Matte Acrylic Clear Spray Paint
For Bean Bags:
1/4 yd 60″ Wide Duck Canvas, Two Contrasting Colors
2 pk Perler beads (6000 count beads)
Basic Sewing Supplies

DIRECTIONS

BOARDS

1.Paint 2 to 3 coats on the cornhole boards with the acrylic sealer.

2.Create a geometric pattern on the corn hole boards using a pencil and metal ruler.

3.Tape each area before painting for easy and neat lines.

4.Water down the acrylic paint and apply a thin layer within a taped area.

5.Make sure to apply an even coat of paint. Don’t paint adjoining areas until the adjacent one is dry.

6.Remove the painter’s tape while painting the next areas to make sure the adjacent colors work together.

7.Once all areas are painted, spray 2 coats of the matte clear spray paint to seal in the paint.

8.Once the matte spray paint is dry, cut pieces of the adhesive vinyl into 1/4″ strips to cover over the seams where the different paint colors meet. These strips will cover any spots of the colors running over each other.

9.Use your x-acto knife and metal ruler to cut the strips of the adhesive vinyl.

10.After placing the strips in place, cut the vinyl where they overlap on the cornhole boards.

BAGS
1.FINISHED SIZE: 6″x 6″
NOTE: use a 1/4″ seam allowance.

2.Cut four 6 1/2″x 12 1/2″ strips from each fabric.

3.With right sides together, fold in half lengthwise and sew side seams.

4.Turn right sides out and press.

5.Edge stitch sides and bottom.

6.Fill with 1 1/2 – 2 cups of beads.

7.Fold down top 1/4″ and edge stitch top closed.

TIPS
It is best to paint both cornhole boards at the same time to make sure the patterns match.

Double stitch bags for maximum strength.
