Chocolate Peppermint Cupcakes

From PILLSBURY BAKING

Makes 24 cupcakes

 

These Chocolate Peppermint Cupcakes have a sweet surprise right inside the frosting.

INGREDIENTS

1 box PILLSBURY Devils Food Moist Supreme Premium Cake Mix

Additional ingredients according to package instructions 

1 tub PILLSBURY Creamy Supreme® White Frosting 

Candy cane chocolates (unwrapped) 

1 piping bag fitted with a large round tip 

Red food coloring 

Crushed chocolate cookies

 

DIRECTIONS

1.Bake and cool your Devils Food cupcakes following the instructions on the box. Let them cool completely. Using a small knife take a small piece out of the top of your cupcakes leaving a small hole. Set them aside. 

2.Paint a few stripes on the inside of your piping bag with the red food coloring and fill the bag with white frosting. 

3.Place a candy cane chocolate inside your cupcake and top with frosting. Sprinkle crushed cookies on top and ENJOY!
