Pumpkin spice and caramel? Yes, and yes. Whip up a Caramel Pumpkin Spice Latte and enjoy an extra layer of deliciousness in this caramel-flavored twist on a fall favorite.

 

INGREDIENTS
HOMEMADE PUMPKIN SPICE SYRUP

1½ cups sugar​
1½ cups water​
6 cinnamon sticks​
1 teaspoon ground cloves​
1 teaspoon ground ginger​
2 teaspoon ground nutmeg​
4 tablespoon pumpkin purée

1.Combine sugar and water in saucepan and bring to a simmer.​

2.Once sugar is dissolved, add cinnamon sticks, ground cloves, ginger, nutmeg and pumpkin purée, and let simmer for 20 minutes.

3.Remove from heat, let cool slightly and then strain through a cheesecloth. Makes enough syrup for 8 beverages. Keeps up to 7 days in the fridge.

 

CARAMEL PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE
1/2 cup whole milk
1 1/2 tablespoon pumpkin spice syrup​
1 1/2 tablespoon caramel sauce​
3/4 cup STARBUCKS Pumpkin Spice Flavored Coffee
1/2 cup whipped cream

Additional caramel sauce for drizzle

 

DIRECTIONS
Pour your pumpkin spice syrup and caramel sauce into a mug followed by brewed Pumpkin Spice Flavored Coffee. Stir together.

3.Add frothed milk.​

4.Top with whipped cream.​                

5.Drizzle with caramel sauce and enjoy.​
