Makes 8 (2 cups) servings

 

This sweet and crunch caramel popcorn will become a family-favorite snack at any celebration.

INGREDIENTS

16 cups plain popped popcorn

1 package (11 ounces) caramels, unwrapped

3 tablespoons water

2 tablespoons butter

2 teaspoons MCCORMICK Ground Cinnamon

1 teaspoon MCCORMICK All Natural Pure Vanilla Extract

 

DIRECTIONS

1.Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Place popcorn in a large bowl sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Line 15” x 10” x 1” baking pan with foil. Spray foil with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

2.Cook caramels, water, and butter in large saucepan on low heat, until caramels are melted, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Stir in cinnamon and vanilla. Pour over popcorn; toss to coat. Spread evenly onto prepared baking pan.

3.Bake 15 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes. Spoon popcorn mixture onto wax paper-lined tray. Cool completely. Break into clusters.

TIPS: For the popcorn, use plain unsalted popped popcorn or popped natural style microwave popcorn.
