Wow your friends with these super cute Candy Corn Surprise Cupcakes!
INGREDIENTS
Favorite cake mix or recipe
Candy corn
Wilton Decorating Icing, White
Wilton Gel Food Coloring: Orange and Yellow
PLUS decorating tip #1M and decorating bag
DIRECTIONS
1.Mix your favorite cake mix (or recipe) as directed. Fill your cupcake liners with batter and bake. Let cool.
2.To fill the center of your cupcakes with candy, place your 1M tip on top of a cupcake with the large opening facing down. Push into the cupcake, twist and pull up to create a hole in your cupcake. Do not throw out the cake you removed.
3.Place several Candy Corns inside the center and cover the hole back with your removed cake.
4.Divide icing into 3 small bowls. With gel food coloring, tint one bowl orange and another bowl yellow.
5.Prepare your Color Swirl by placing each color (white, orange, and yellow) in a decorating bag. Pipe the tri-color icing to the top of your cupcakes.
