Handpicked for mom…make these DIY Mother’s Day Handprint Flowers to give her one-of-a-kind bouquet.

YOU’LL NEED

CRAYOLA Construction Paper

CRAYOLA Paint Brush

Pencil

CRAYOLA Take Note Permanent Markers

Craft Sticks

Upcycled Cardboard

CRAYOLA Washable Paint

CRAYOLA Scissors

CRAYOLA No-Run School Glue

CRAYOLA Glitter Glue

Disposable Plate

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Paint hand and stamp onto construction paper. Repeat twice with different paint colors.
  2. Cut out handprints.
  3. Sketch and cut out construction paper leaves.
  4. Cover 3 craft sticks with paint. Dry 1 to 2 hours. Add second coat. Dry 1 to 2 hours.
  5. To create each handprint flower, glue handprint to front of craft stick and leaves to back of craft stick.
  6. Sketch and cut out cardboard flower pot.
  7. Pour paint color of your choice and white paint onto disposable plate. Mix together with paint brush.
  8. Cover cardboard with paint. Dry 1 to 2 hours. Add second coat. Dry 1 to 2 hours.
  9. Write message for mom on flowerpot with markers.
  10. Add sparkly details with glitter glue.
  11. Glue handprint flowers to back of flowerpot.
  12. Cut out cardboard triangle.
  13. Glue triangle to back of flowerpot to create stand. Let all glue steps dry 3–4 hours.
  14. Give this floral handiwork to mom for Mother’s Day!
