Clothespin Shark Puppet

Aww sharks! Make an “abso-toothly” fun Clothespin Shark Puppet and turn playtime into “some-fin” special. 

*This project uses a toothpick. Adult assistance required.

YOU’LL NEED 

CRAYOLA Construction Paper

CRAYOLA Metallic Markers

CRAYOLA Bright Pop! Cardstock

Wiggle Eye

Toothpick

CRAYOLA Scissors

CRAYOLA No-Run School Glue

Pencil

Clothespin

DIRECTIONS 

1.Sketch and cut out construction paper shark.

2.Draw gills on shark with markers.

3.Glue wiggle eye to shark. Dry 1 to 2 hours.

4.Cut shark in half horizontally.

5.Glue top half of shark to top half of clothespin. Glue bottom half of shark to bottom half of clothespin.

6.Sketch and cut out small cardstock fish.

7.Ask an adult to cut a toothpick to create a small piece.

8.Glue toothpick to back of fish.

9.Glue fish toothpick to back of shark’s mouth. Let all glue steps dry 1 to 2 hours.

10.Open and close clothespin shark puppet for a chomping good time!
