Snowy the Mouse Glitter Snow Globe

Shake up a swirl of winter magic with this frosty Snowy the Mouse Glitter Snow Globe craft— glitter and sparkle gives it festive North Pole cheer!

YOU’LL NEED:

  • A clear plastic or glass jar with a tight-fitting lid (like a mason jar or small sauce jar)
  • Water
  • Silver, blue, and white glitter (fine + chunky for fun texture)
  • Iridescent or white snowflake confetti
  • A few drops of blue food coloring (optional for a light icy tint)
  • Glycerin or clear glue (to help the glitter float gently)
  • Hot glue gun (with adult supervision)
  • Twine and a bell (optional, for tying around the lid)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Fill the Jar: Add water to the jar, leaving about ½ inch of space at the top.
  2. Add Sparkle: Sprinkle in glitter and snowflake confetti—use a mix of fine and chunky glitter for a snowy storm effect.
  3. Tint the Water (Optional): Add 1–2 drops of blue food coloring for a chilly blue glow. Stir gently.
  4. Add Glycerin: Pour in a small splash of glycerin or a teaspoon of clear glue—this slows the glitter fall and gives it that magical snow-globe shimmer.
  5. Seal It Up: Use hot glue to seal the inside rim of the lid. Screw it on tight and let it dry completely.
  6. Decorate (Optional): Tie a bell, attached to twine, around the lid or add a “North Pole” label for a finishing touch!
  7. Shake & Sparkle: Turn it over, give it a gentle shake, and watch your snowy North Pole scene come to life!
