Dark Chocolate Fudgesicles

From NESTLE

Makes 8 fudgesicles

It’s summertime fun with these easy frozen fudgy treats.

INGREDIENTS

3/4 cup of granulated sugar

3/4 cup of NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Baking Cocoa

1 1/2 tablespoons of cornstarch

1/8 teaspoon of salt

3 cups of almond milk or whole milk

1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 cup (6 ounces) Artisan Collection Extra Dark Morsels by NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE

DIRECTIONS

1.Combine sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, salt, and milk in a heavy medium saucepan. Whisk mixture and bring to a simmer. Continue whisking and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk in the vanilla. Transfer mixture to a heat-proof pitcher and let cool for 30-60 minutes. Chop morsels into pea-sized pieces and set aside.

2.Fill the popsicle molds according to manufacturer’s instructions, but do not add the sticks yet.

3.Freeze until the mixture is thick enough to hold a stick upright. At this point, stir 2 teaspoons chopped morsels into each mold, and then insert sticks into molds. Freeze until hard, about 4 hours if the mixture was cool, 6 or more hours if warm.

4.Rub molds with a warm damp cloth to help remove popsicles from molds before enjoying.
