This Star Celebration Cake will the the “star” of your next party.
INGREDIENTS
1 box PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Premium Cake and Cupcake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box instructions
3 to 4 tubs PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Confetti Vanilla Flavored Frosting
Star cookie cutters
Fruit flavored chewy candies
DIRECTIONS
1.Prepare cake mix according to box instructions. Divide batter between 3 6” round pans and bake. Cool completely. Optional: Level cakes with a serrated knife to remove rounded tops of cakes.
2.Frost and layer cake, using vanilla frosting in between each layer. Frost the sides and top of the cake with an offset spatula or butter knife. Place into the fridge for 30 minutes to chill.
3.Place star cookie cutters onto cake where desired. Carefully spoon sprinkles onto the cake, around the star cookie cutters. Remove cookie cutters. Line the outline of each star with chewy candies. Serve and enjoy!
