Patriotic Star Brownie Sandwiches

Makes 7 to 10 sandwiches

Patriotic star Brownie Sandwiches are perfect for a July 4th picnic or cookout.

INGREDIENTS

1 box PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Brownie Mix with Candy Coated Chips

Additional ingredients to prepare brownie mix per box instructions

1-2 tubs PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Confetti Vanilla Frosting 

Star shaped cookie cutter 

Piping bag

Piping tip #32

DIRECTIONS

1. Prepare brownie mix according to box instructions, using a 9×13” baking pan. Line with parchment paper for easy release or spray with nonstick cooking spray. Sprinkle candy coated chips from brownie mix on top of brownie batter. 
2. Bake brownies according to box instructions. Let brownies cool completely. Using a star shaped cookie cutter, cut out stars and save excess edges for a sweet treat.
3. Spoon frosting into a piping bag fitted with a piping tip #32. Pipe small rosettes onto the first layer of the sandwich. Place the second brownie star on top. Pipe a second layer of frosting onto the top layer. Top with sprinkles from frosting lid.
