Makes 24 dipped strawberries
Patriotic Strawberries
INGREDIENTS
1 pound (4 cups) fresh strawberries
1 cup (6 ounces) NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Premier White Morsels
1 teaspoon of vegetable oil
1/4 cup blue decorating sugar
DIRECTIONS
1.Line baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. Wash strawberries and pat dry with paper towels.
2.Microwave morsels and oil in medium, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH power for 45 seconds then stir. If needed, microwave at additional 15-second intervals, stirring vigorously after each interval until morsels are melted.
3.Dip strawberries 2/3 of the way into the melted morsels, allowing excess to drip back into the bowl. Dip the strawberries 1/3 of the way into the blue sugar. Place strawberries on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all strawberries are dipped in the melted morsels and sugar. Store in the refrigerator until set, about 15 minutes.
